As colleges face stressed budgets, reduced revenue streams, and increased costs associated with COVID-19, there is a significant need to raise money. To meet this challenge, advancement teams need fundraising solutions that will drive donations, are engaging, affordable, and easy to implement.
One way to do this is by running a “Buy a Mask, Donate a Mask” campaign. By asking for support to ensure the health and safety of the campus community, by purchasing a mask to donate, donors also receive one as a thank-you. This low-cost and high impact solution is also an effective way to maximize funds raised.
As students and donors use the masks, they’ll build and maintain a sense of pride in the university. In addition, they will increase brand awareness as people see them wear the mask or share it on social media.
